Using TeamViewer 12 I am finding that once I have connected to a remote system (on the LAN or outside) I do not have left/right click functionality with my mouse (though I can move the cursor) and my connection seems to prevent the remote user from clicking too (they can move the cursor though)

I had this problem with TeamViewer 13, and I discovered that it was caused by an USB mouse connected to the target computer. Once I removed the mouse from the USB port, mouse clicks, and overall mouse responsiveness greatly improved.

I have a similar problem with teamviewer 15, windows 10 to macOS mojave - after a while mouse will only do right clicks, even when I try to left click. Alt-tab fixes for a while (thanks @GCRaistlin !) - did you ever find another fix

I have finally solved the problem but I am not sure if this will work for others. I work on two Macs and occasionally, especially after a restart of the remote computer, I cannot click anywhere on the remote computer even though I can move the mouse. Force quitting and restarting Teamviewer did not work. The solution for me was to lock the remote computer through the local computer under \"Actions\" and then unlock it again through the local computer.

Hello, I have an issue where I can connect to a machine that is running teamviewer unattended access. Once logged into the windows session I can not get the mouse to click on or interact with anything on the remote session. I can still operate and click on things with my mouse locally, just not with the remote.

I am writing because I have a problem with Teamviewer: I have recently added a second monitor to the station that I have to remotely control. When I start the session I see both screens correctly but I can only interact with one of them during videocall. On one I can write, point with the mouse and click to open applications while on the other I can only write with the keyboard and move the mouse but without clicking. I have an issue with after connecting from PC to remote PC (Windows 10 to Windows 10) machine where when I click on something it does not select what I clicked on. The mouse cursor moves, the items highlight the hover over, if i click and drag it works no problem, i can draw a select box and you can see the mouse button action that it is pressed and held down, and you can see the release, but when I click on a menu item or a file, I cannot select it. No double clicking responds to open a program or file. I have attached a recording of my issue below. If I EXIT teamviewer and restart TEAMVIEWER , and reconnect to the remote pc the mouse clicks will work but only for 1 session. If I close and reopen the same connection or any other I get the same problem back.

I am running Teamviewer 14.1.18533 on my Windows 10 machine and I am remotely accessing an iMac running Teamviewer 13. The display works fine. The problem is the mouse and keyboard. The mouse is uncontrollable. The camera spins and it is impossible to direct the character to move. Using WASD keys to move the character cause jerky movments.

Secondly, On a local machine, the mouse is bound as a controller to a game until you select another window. With TeamViewer, this cannot be done, the remote mouse is bound, but the local mouse on your side is not. This will cause the mouse movements on the remote side to act erratically.

I'm not asking for a remote acces to CoD or something like that. Just a few games that are FP camera view and in need of a smooth movements.Like playing PC Building Simulator is impossible, because you need your mouse to control the camera. But you can walk correctly x)

Same issue here with both my clients' machines, and our own. Remote control is initiated, on the host side is says that the client is in control, but the client cannot move the hosts' mouse or click on anything. On the client end, it appears though you are in control of the host as well. No error messages, and no issues actually viewing the desktop, just not able to control it.

So I figured out a workaround that seems to get the mouse cursor working again, once the end user shares the screen and they give you control click on chat on the left hand side of teams which should minimize the remote control window. Than go back to the screen share via the connection box in the bottom right hand corner of the screen in teams, and Wa Laa your mouse cursor is now showing in the remote control and you can move around and clicking works. @mkowal42910
