If you followed these simple steps, you should have succesfully added the trackers for your torrent. You should note that these steps should be repeated for every torrent file you are downloading. Now the torrent download should start to add more seeds and peers, this is because the new trackers will keep track of more connected users who are also downloading and uploading the concerned torrent file.

A Torrent (simply put) is a file shared between peers--there is no server involved. Files are transferred from distributors (known as seeders) to requesting clients (known as leechers or peers). Download the µtorrent program and use it to download the movies, music, and games you are looking for. Note that uploading (or seeding) copyright-protected material is illegal in many countries.

A seed-to-leech ratio is the number of seeders to leechers. You want this number to be as high as possible! Basically, always pick the torrent with the highest number of seeds (hosts/uploaders) to leeches (downloaders). Do not be tempted to turn off your firewall when torrenting, as this opens your computer up to malware and all sorts of threats. If you use a router with firewall, you will need to configure this setting too.

Torrenting works by distributing a file across dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of seeders and peers. Seeders are computers that have the complete file available for upload. Peers are computers that are still in the process of downloading the file. When a new peer joins the system and is looking for a file, the torrenting software breaks the file into many tiny chunks. The software then looks for peers that have already obtained the chunks that the new peer still needs, and if they have it, the other peers upload it to the new peer. If none of the peers have the chunk, then the system goes and gets it from one of the seeds (which have all the chunks).

This system keeps the seeds from being overwhelmed by requests, and once the peers collectively have all of the chunks of the file, then new peers joining can get the file very quickly because it is available from many different sources instead of just a few seeds. For this reason, the more seeds and the more peers a torrent already has, the quicker any new members of the network will be able to download the file. When a peer finishes downloading the entire file, it becomes another seed and can further enhance download speed.

Those are just a few ways you can make uTorrent faster. As long as there are enough quality seeds and peers and you have everything set up correctly, your torrents should now come flying down. Any bottlenecks or slow downloads will be at the other end, not yours!

I have found that the best amp sims are the likes of Fractal and Helix. I own A5, many Neural DSP, PA, etc. and was not satisfied by any. The only one that sounded really good was HX Helix but at $400 I went for the HX Stomp hardware and have never been happier.

In my own experience there are some important factors: good DI input, very good sound interface (with as low latency as possible too), and loud-n-clean monitoring. Then you can judge good amp sims.

hi rob ,I have played loud with my band and buddies , I got a big red marshall , and a boss gt 10 , the rhythm guitarist has a marshall head with a different cab , sounds fantastic cranked up to 8 or 9 , perfect for blending with a heavy rock drummer and lung launching vocal screamer, 600 watt pa system .however its late at night , I live in a flat and I want to record or create some music. geez ,don the headphones and ampsim it is , I love amplitube for the more melodic and crunchie sounds , gtr from waves is good for heavier sounds ,but my boss gt10 is just fun ,and it can be connected with a usb, no need for audio device ,its got one built in . like you said ,they are all tools and have a specific purpose to fit our every needs , one size fits all cant work in a diverse world of music ,individual preferences demand as many different tools as our imagination can figure out a place to use them.p s reason 9.5 softube amps (lovely for clean guitar)and guitar sims in Cubase ,all have a place . utilize what you got and write some awesome tunes is what I say .
