The Rockville Holiday Drive relies on a collaborative partnership with local churches, schools, civic organizations, service clubs, businesses, social service agencies, and individuals working together to distribute holiday baskets to families and seniors in need.
The central drop-off location will be the main office of Mile High Flea Market, located in the middle of their grounds. Additional drop-off locations will be dispersed throughout the market. They are collecting donations of toys, books, blankets, jackets and holiday candy.
One in 28 American children has a parent behind bars. In Pennsylvania alone, there are approximately 81,000 children with a parent incarcerated in a Pennsylvania state prison. How can we come together as a community to support families experiencing incarceration during the holidays?
From November 25 through December 21, any Eastern State visitor who donates a new toy or children's book, in its original packaging (but please no gift wrap), will receive a coupon for BOGO Daytime Tour Admission valid through December 31, 2025. BOGO coupons are not valid for private tours or special events like Night Tours or Halloween Nights.

Johnny Foster of Johnny Wicks is sponsoring this campaign to bring holiday cheer to nineteen young men ages 9-17 in the foster care system. You can donate through December 24. Most requested donations include In and Out gift cards, basic items like socks, underwear, and clothing, and other gift items of interest to preteen and teen boys.

The College of Education and Human Sciences Student Advisory Board is seeking donations of children's books in support of the new partnership between CEHS and the Malone Community Center. CEHS SAB is asking UNL students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends to please consider donating lightly used or new books that would be appropriate for children ages 3 to 14. The drive will happen from October 22 - November 16. HDSIDJC and Smile Pre-School Nursery are partnering for a Holiday Toy Giveaway. Donations will be accepted through December 1st and toys will be given to children ages 1-8. The Hoboken Food Pantry helps to ease everyday burdens in the community year-round with its efforts to collect and distribute food items to those in need. This year, they are taking this one step further by adding a toy drive to their holiday initiatives. The Food Pantry staff will be collecting toys through December 11th. All donated toys must be new and can either be shipped directly to the Food Pantry {1301 Washington Street} or a drop-off can be arranged by emailing hobokenfoodpantry@gmail.com. Also, join The Food Pantry for a holiday market on December 12th following the toy drive.
The Hoboken Family Alliance knows that this year has been especially difficult for children already facing difficulty in their lives, but the organization is looking to make this time of year a bit brighter. The 13th Annual Toy, Book, and Pajama Drive are doing just that, but it needs your help. Toys, books, and pajamas can be donated until December 23rd by either supporting the cause monetarily here or by purchasing items from one of the three approved locations.
