The input parameters you can use in the input options of RFEM are in Table 06. For the calculation of the ultimate load capacity of steel-fiber-reinforced concrete, these parameters have to be entered. The steel-fiber orientation is entered in Eq. 06.1.1 as an angle value. Due to the defined tie points of the fibres, the fiber orientation is only defined at the specified points, i.e. the reference element size lFE,R must be taken 0.0 m. The fiber volume is entered in Eq. 06.1.2. If the specified content of steel fibers is more than 5%, then the specified fiber volume must be multiplied by 1.05. The distribution of the steel fibers can be entered in Eq. 06.1.3 and the specified steel fiber percentage must be entered. The material of the reinforcement used in the calculation must be entered in Eq. 06.1.4.
If you first calculate the maximum load capacity of a steel-fiber-reinforced concrete, the value will automatically be selected by the computer according to the specified maximum load capacity. If you then add concrete elements and components, the load capacity of the steel-fiber-reinforced concrete will decrease. In this case, the computer calculates the load capacity again and the calculated value will be saved.
Depending on the selected scatter in the "Program Parameters" you can access the 6.2.1.2 crack initiation criteria of EN 1992-1-1. The biggest categories with respect to rising cracks are: 1.1.2,1.1.3,1.1.4,1.1.5, 1.1.6,1.1.7, 1.2.2, 1.2.3, 1.2.4. The crack initiation is only triggered when the plastic strain in the element is greater than the program value xPlbepl. The user can also set as a trigger strain and according to EN 1992-1-1 [4] and Figure 06, xPlbepl is the most significant value in a descending branch. If xPlbepl d2c66b5586
